Marina Diamandis (pronounced dee-a-man-dee) born 10 October 1985, better known by her stage name Marina and the Diamonds, is a Welsh singer-songwriter of Greek descent. She rose to fame after reaching number two on the BBC Sound of 2010 poll list. After releasing one private extended play (Mermaid Vs Sailor), she released her second extended play, The Crown Jewels EP, with help from Neon Gold Records in 2009. Now signed to 679 Recordings, she released her debut full-length studio album debuting at 5 in the official UK charts, The Family Jewels, followed by her third extended play, The American Jewels EP, in 2010.

    Marina has been working the Stolen Thunder jewellery all summer and now they have an amazing competition for Marina fans! They are giving away 2 tickets to see Marina And The Diamonds at the HMV Forum in London on the 9th of November. All you have to do is ‘like‘ their Facebook page and you are qualified to be a winner. They will pick a winner at random on November 2nd and they will also chose 1 runner up who will win £50 worth of Stolen Thunder jewellery. Awesome right? Make sure you also follow them on Twitter, it is not part of the competition but it is definitely worth it for other competitions and they have going on.
