28 Images have been added to the gallery from the NME Awards which took place tonight. Marina looked gorgeous at the prestigious award show where she showed off her grey tresses whilst dressing in calm pastel colours. Marina was also nominated in the Hottest Female category but lost to Paramore’s Haley Williams.

The NME Awards were televised last night on Channel 4 in the UK & as always @MarinasDiamond was quick off the mark and has it up on YouTube for us all to watch. He even added the little interview Marina had with Alexa Chung. Check it out above.

Good job Diamonds. After months of voting, we the winners of the Virgin Media Music Awards have been announced & guess who won Best Newcomer? We voted Marina so much that she won with over two thirds of the votes.

Marina of Marina And The Diamonds’ might have been moaning about not being a bigger star recently, but tell that to the voters of our awards – the flamboyant frontwoman easily takes this gong, with more than two thirds of the votes. Former X Factor star Diana Vickers came in second while Ke$ha, The Pretty Reckless and The Wanted made up the remainder of the top five.
